The Doors Open Early

As I was sitting in my office, working on some paperwork. Holg rushes in and tells me, "Noel a message just came in saying people are already lining up to come in."

"Already, but we don't open for another week." I said as I got up and looked out my window. Sure enough I see ships and shuttles lining up at docking vessel # 7.

"What do you want us to do, send them away?" He asked.

"Hummmmmm....." I said as I sat back down. "Is everything ready right now?"

"Mostly, yes. There is still a few areas that need to be touched up. But I think the resort is ready to be open again."

"Well let's do it then, let's open early." I said with a smile. "No reason to send the early comers away. We will open the doors now, but the re-opening party will still be held on schedule, for next weekend."

"I'll contact the crew to let them know of the news. You contact security and make sure everyone is in place. The doors will open in two hours." I continued.

Holg just nodded and left.

My first call was to the docking vessels. I told them to start letting people in, but not to taxi them over till the okay was given. Then I contacted the managers to all the stores, clubs, hotels, and restaurants, ect. I told them about the change of plans and, if that they were ready to open to go ahead and call their employees. Luckily most of the working crew stay on the ship in personal crew quarters.

The two hours pass quickly and after getting the okay from most of the sections in the resort, I contacted Holg to see if the security was ready. He gives me the okay. Then I contact the docking vessels and give the okay to start taxiing people over. I sit and watch as the taxi's leave the docking vessels and enter the resort.

We're back in business.

There wasn't to many problems the first day. One bar claimed a small disturbance from some clone troopers, but quickly dealt with the problem. And it seems that a lot of people had a very good time.
