The meeting.

When I woke up I made the decision that this was the day I get back to work.

I'm tired of moping around the room. True I'm still sad and feel alone, but I have to get back to living. So I got out of bed and hoped into the shower. The water felt great as it ran over my body. But soon I remembered when Zebb and I took a shower together. The memories flooded back and I started to cry, again.

I miss him so much and wish he could still be here..... still hold me. As I stood there in the shower a feeling came over me. It was a peaceful feeling, and I felt like someone was there. I looked around and saw no one. I closed my eyes and reached out with my mind. When I opened them, Zebb was standing right in front of me. He seemed so real, and when I reached out and touched his chest, he felt real too. For a moment I was shocked, and thought he was alive. But I then realized that it wasn't possible. What had happened was that I had joined my mind with his spirit. And with any joinings, it can seem as real as real life.

Zebb took my hand that was still on his chest and held it in his hands. He gently rubbed it, then he looked at me and pulled me towards him. He wrapped his arms around me and held me close.

"I miss you so much," I told him.

"I know,"he said. Then he pulled away and looked right at me, "it hurts me to see you so sad, that's why I came back."

"You came back to be with me?" I asked.

He shook his head and said,"No, not really. I'm here to tell you something."

"Tell me what?"

"I want you to remember all the times we were together and be happy. I want those memories of me to make you smile, not cry."

I just nodded

"Also, I want to assure you, that you will find love again. And I don't want the memories of me getting in the way of your happiness."

"But I...." He stopped me by covering my mouth with a finger.

"No buts, just trust me. I promise you, after our meeting here you will feel better."

I smiled and nodded.

"I just want you to be happy."

He then leans over and kisses me. And we proceed to be intimate.


After an hour, we are holding on another. We both are breathing hard. He pulls away and tells me, "I have to be going now."

"Will I ever see you again?" I asked.

He shook his head and said "I'm afraid not."

I looked at him and I could feel the tears coming back. He put a hand on the side of my face and said, "remember what I had told you. No more sadness."

All of a sudden the sadness passed and I feel a peace that I haven't felt in a long time. I just smiled and told him, "I will never forget you." As he disappeared into mist.

I turned the shower off and climbed out. I grabed my com-link and sent Holg a message. I'm going back to work.
